Welfare benefits advice

We provide advice, information and support for those with complex welfare benefits problems including applications that have been refused where a review or appeal is appropriate, overpayment of benefit disputes and associated benefit issues.

Appointments are also available to assist clients to complete benefit application forms including Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payments, Attendance Allowance, Benefit and Employment Support Allowance claim/review forms.

Our Community Advice Network (CAN) project can also help with many of the day to day forms, more information on this project can be found here: www.communityadvice.net

Appointments are arranged for clients to attend the bureau wherever possible. However, home visits can be arranged if a client is unable to attend if the client is housebound.

If we are unable to represent a client at a benefit appeal tribunal we shall endeavor to provide all the relevant advice and information that is required for the client to continue with the appeal themselves.
